Refund policy

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at online@dervansfashions.ie. Please note that returns will need to be sent to the following address: [INSERT RETURN ADDRESS]

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.


Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.


European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at online@dervansfashions.ie.

Returns & Refund Policy

If for any reason you are unhappy and would like to return an online purchase, we are happy to refund you as long as you notify us within 14 days of receiving your delivery. You then have an additional 14 days to get the items back to us either in-store or by post.

The following conditions apply:

  • Items must be unworn.
  • Items must have all original tags.
  • Items must be in saleable condition.
  • It is your own responsibility to make sure returns are correctly packaged so as to arrive undamaged.
  • Returning items will be at the expense of the customer.

Refund will be issued upon receipt of returned goods and fulfilment of above conditions.

For reasons of health and hygiene we are unable to offer exchange or refund on:

  • Underwear/lingerie, control lingerie and shapewear, hosiery and swimwear
  • Hats and hair accessories

In-Store Returns for Online Purchases.

You can return online purchases in-store. Please bring the original payment card used for the purchase and one of our store assistants will refund you or help you find an alternative. Refunds to cards can take 3–5 business days to process.

Returning items by An Post or parcel/courier service

  1. If you're considering a return, please contact us first — we may be able to help resolve your query or suggest an alternative.
  2. If we’re unable to help and you still wish to return the item, you have 14 days to notify us of your intention to return.
  3. After notifying us, you then have a further 14 days to return the items. Include the completed returns form, enclose it with your repackaged items, and attach the address label provided in your parcel.

Return via An Post Online Portal

We also offer the option to return your order via the An Post Returns Portal, which can offer reduced return postage rates.

An Post Returns Portal Example

Just follow these steps:

  1. Please contact us first — we’re happy to help with any questions or quicker solutions, via online@dervansfashions.ie or 091 841087.
  2. If we cannot help you resolve the query or provide an alternative then continue.
  3. Go to the An Post Returns Portal
  4. Select our store name from the list
  5. Choose the reason for return
  6. Enter your order number (e.g. 1001)
  7. Choose your return option and complete the process online
  8. Please ensure to put the return reason on your return documentation.

  • Please note that if you are shopping with us outside of the EU, including the UK, you may be subject to customs fees when making a return to us by post/courier.

Extended Christmas Returns Policy:

FROM 24th November 2025 WE WILL EXCHANGE ANY ITEMS BOUGHT IN STORE OR ONLINE AS CHRISTMAS PRESENTS up to January 17th 2026, once accompanied by a valid receipt or gift receipt.

If a full receipt is presented that is within 14 days a refund will be granted, however if it is outside 14 days, or accompanied by a Gift Receipt it will be EXCHANGE ONLY in all cases.

IMPORTANT: This does NOT apply TO CLEARANCE STOCK, UNDERWEAR or ACCESSORIES. Our NO-RETURNS POLICY still applies to these items throughout this period.
